All CHC locations will be closed on Monday, April 18th, 2022, in observance of Patriots' Day.
Due to the decrease in testing volume, CHC's COVID-19 Testing Clinic at 375 Nichols Road will be closed as of Friday 2/25/22. CHC will no longer be offering public testing at this time. CHC patients will still have access to COVID-19 testing as needed.
COVID testing in Gardner is reserved for CHC Patients only and will occur at our main Gardner facility at 175 Connors Street.

Since 2003, Caring for Kids has been offering
preventative dental services to students by bringing those services directly to schools and daycares throughout North Central
Massachusetts.
To date,
Caring for Kids provides over 50 schools and daycares free dental care by
establishing temporary dental work sites at each school and daycare
location.
All dental services are provided in-person to any child from preschool to high school within a partnering school or daycare. Simply return our signed a parent/guardian consent form for your student(s) to receive care, regardless of ability to pay or insurance status.
Caring for Kids will partner with any school or daycare program within CHC’s service area who is in need of dental services for their students.
Caring for Kids provides preventative services which include dental cleanings, dental sealants, fluoride varnish, and periodic dental exams.
Caring for Kids does not charge for dental services. We want your students to get the dental care they need and deserve!

Lead Dentist
Dr. Peter Jengo has been in the dental field for over 50 years and has been with CHC as a Clinical Dentist since 2007. Dr. Jengo began his dental career in the U.S. Army and then ran his own practice for 35 years. After closing his practice, Dr. Jengo served as a Dentist within private practices before beginning at Community Health Connections. Dr. Jengo has also a Clinical Instructor at Quinsigamond Community College since 2010. Dr. Jengo graduated from Boston College in 1963 and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from Georgetown University in 1967.

Paula is a 2008 graduate of Quinsigamond Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Studies from Worcester State University. Prior to joining the Caring for Kids team, she worked for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Office of Oral Health as an oral health consultant for the Worcester Public middle schools and high schools. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, serving as the President-Elect for Massachusetts. On a personal level, she is married with two children and enjoys running half marathons and hiking.

Louise is a graduate of Quinsigamond Community College Dental Hygiene Program. After raising her six children, she decided to use her love of children to practice in a pediatric dental practice for over 25 years. She has extensive experience in public health, working for the Nashoba Board of Health where she not only worked as a clinician, but spent many hours teaching elementary school children about oral health in the classroom setting. She has been with the Caring for Kids program for the last 10 years and enjoys being in the schools with kids of all ages. After spending time with her 15 grandchildren, she can be found walking the back roads and kayaking the ponds of Central Massachusetts or Cape Cod.

Jennifer is a 2008 graduate of Quinsigamond Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene, a Certificate as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, and has an Associate’s Degree in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies from Mount Wachusett Community College. Jennifer has 20 years of experience in the dental field, serving as a Dental Assistant for seven years and a Dental Hygienist for 13 years, with five (5) of those years with Caring for Kids and CHC. When Jennifer isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family.
